First things

Phillipians 2:5 ''Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.''

Wow, this was supposed to happen about a year and a half ago, but here it finally is, just some thoughts.

It has been an awesome year in the UK, full of difficulties, blessings, lessons to learn and character forming. God is an awesome GOD!

If we want to be legitimate children of His, we have to receive and learn from the times He lovingly disciplines us, but it is always blessed when you look back upon what has been formed.

I have so much in my heart that I want to write on this blog, but I am going to just write what I think will bless the readers the most. Just this scripture above is enough to dwell on and digest for a couple of weeks.

It is quite a thing as a Christian to have your heart changed by the Father, not just where he changes the very obvious sins in your fibre, but when it comes to character and more abstract things, like humility (Removing of pride) and the smaller, but most of the times the more powerful, sinful nature in us. Or let me rather say, the less evident or less obvious stuff.

I listened to a sermon of David Wilkerson the other day that encouraged me. He said that the Holy Spirit's main job is to create in us a pure and spotless bride of Christ in time for the Lord's glorious return, I know it's strange thoughts, but it's the crux of the stage of Christianity that we are in. We are awaiting Jesus' return and being prepared for the wedding supper of the Lamb.

Folks, I don't want to pretend that I am extremely excited or looking forward to this time and day as much as I should, but I am trusting the Holy Spirit to open my eyes to see Jesus in His unveiled Beauty and Majesty, so that I and we know that the things of this earth are growing strangely dim in the light of His Glory and Grace!

1Corinthians 2:9-10: 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

That's it for now, more than enough to chew on. Let the Spirit create a cry in us, Come Lord Jesus Come!
